Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (LFGSM)’s Corporate Education division, is pleased to announce that a recent educational collaboration with HSBC ― the Advanced Consulting Skills Program ― has received the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD)’s Excellence in Practice Award for 2010 in the category of professional development. The Program was designed and delivered to more than 200 HSBC information technology (IT) professionals by LFGSM to enhance client satisfaction, institutionalize the shared services model more effectively, and prepare for future enterprise-wide IT initiatives.
The EFMD Award represents the tenth time LFGSM has earned recognition for a training program developed in collaboration with a client organization. "HSBC and LFGSM are delighted to be recognized for our partnership in learning and education," said LFGSM’s Corporate Education Director Howard Prager. "It is through such results-focused partnerships that we are able to meet the complex business challenges and business learning needs of a growing global workforce.“
EFMD is an international organization based in Brussels, Belgium, and is devoted to the continuous improvement of management development worldwide. Recognized globally as an accreditation body certifying quality in management education, EFMD manages the European Quality Improvement System — the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration.
The Award will be presented June 7, 2010, in Wiesbaden, Germany, during the EFMD Annual Conference. Upon accepting the Award, LFGSM's Howard Prager and Scott Farley, HSBC Vice President, will have the opportunity to present the Program's results; results also will be published in leading management journals. "We are proud to be recognized internationally for our success in creating a program that has delivered measureable results for our organization, and also to have the opportunity to share the success of our LFGSM partnership with other organizations worldwide," said Farley.
